Moving On

According to LJ, my account was opened ten years ago yesterday. I love that place, and while I don't post very often, I read it everyday.

It makes me so sad that LJ's accessibility sucks. It makes me sad that I'm paying for a subscription, but can't access the site. It makes me sad that it is time to move on.

As of today, Dreamwidth is my new base of operation. I'll continue crossposting to LJ, but all posts will originate here.

If anyone wants/needs an invite code to Dreamwidth, please let me know and I'll send one right away.

Yeah, me too. I've been crossposting for a while now, but my primary attention and allegiance were to LJ. I think from now on, it'll be on DW, just because it seems likely that this DDoS issue isn't going to stop anytime soon. This is, what, the third major attack they've had this year? With this last one being the biggest and most damaging of them all. This is not going anywhere good, and I'd just as soon make my investment here. I've always kind of preferred the *idea* of DW; just, I was going where my f-list was going, you know? But the writing, she is on the wall.
