Venturing Back into the World
Jan. 24th, 2010 06:26 pmFirst and foremost - HUGE THANKS AND MUCH LOVE to each and every one of YOU!! I have a huge stack of personal thanks to make and I plan to do that as soon as possible, but I'm still working with limited internet access (one computer - three people).
So, I guess I'm going back to work on February 1; I'd love to take more time but it just seems like the right thing to do. I've noticed the lack of a schedule/structure and evidently, I need that.
New clothing and shoes have been purchased and the hair has been drastically cut and highlighted. While standing in the check out line at Wal-Green's today (where I'd gone to buy cigarettes and Coca Cola products), I saw and purchased this. It has a money back guarantee, so what's the harm in trying it . . . ?
Earlier this afternoon, Leslie called and I was telling her about it. She said, "Damn, Momma! With your too sexy hair and your soon to be too sexy chin and neck, we'll have to tell people we're sisters!"
I <3 my daughter.
I have an appointment tomorrow to see an apartment and I'm excited. It is five minutes from my office, and one of my dear Compassionate Friends ladies lives there. We're already making plans to take over and run the place! If everything goes according to plan, I should have a spare bedroom and a sleeper sofa in case anyone winds up in Misery and needed a bed for the night(!). I also have the donations from you, sent by the lovely and talented

The past month has been beyond Hell, but this past week, I've actually started to feel confident about moving forward. I love you all and could never repay you if I had a thousand years to try.
Peace out,
Connie
