Because I have nothing of real import going on in my life at the moment (thank TPTB!), I'm just going to piece and parcel from friends.

You were born during a Waning Crescent moon
This phase occurs right before the new moon.

- what it says about you -
You appreciate closure. It bothers you when people promise to do something and then don't follow through. You want to able to right the wrongs of the past. Studying history motivates you to improve the world. You put a lot of hope in the future and look forward to seeing technology and progress improve our lives.
What phase was the moon at on your birthday? Find out at Spacefem.com
And the "avoidance meme" was lifted from

1. Make a list of 5 things that you can see without getting up: cell phone, iPod Touch, remote control, kittehs, glass of ice water.
3. What's the last silly/most giggle-inducing thing you did? Earlier this afternoon, I launched into a rant at an voice activated directory for an insurance company. Just as I was really gearing up, a live person answered.
4. Latest obsession? Same answer as V and M - watching the disaster that is Japan.
5. What do you hear right now? Leslie rattling the pots and pans in the kitchen, and Ghost Hunters on the telly.
6. Who was the last person you hugged? Curtis and Jasminder, when I got home from work this afternoon.
7. What is/was for dinner? Fettuccine Alfredo with sauted shrimp, garlic bread, salad and sweet tea.
8. What did you do yesterday? Went to work, came home, fixed supper and watched NCIS, then played with kids and kittehs until bedtime.
9. Dog person or cat person? Cat person, with extreme prejudice. I honestly can't remember a time that I wasn't owned by at least one, since I was 8-9 years old.
10. What's the farthest you've ever traveled? West Highlands of Scotland.
11. What was the last thing that you bought? At my lunch break today, I bought laundry detergent, fabric softener, and kitteh litter.
12. If you could afford to go anywhere in the world, where would you go? Half Moon Hotel and Spa in Montego Bay, St. James, Jamaica and I would take all of my SSC buddies. We'd have frozen drinks on the beach all day and all night!
13. Where do you see yourself in five years? I would like to travel with the grandkids, take them on fun vacations in exotic locales . . .
14. Favorite book? Too many to choose from, so I'll just name the one I just finished - A Dark Matter, by Peter Straub.
15. What are you doing this weekend? I've had several decent invitations, but I haven't decided which to accept. All of them involve friends or family, and celebrating St Paddy's Day.
16. If you could play any musical instrument, which one would you play? Over the past year or so, I've been toying with the idea of buying a student mandolin and learning to play.
17. Favorite color? Gray is my favorite color, I felt so symbolic yesterday. If I knew Picasso, I would buy myself a gray guitar and play!
18. What are you doing tomorrow? Going to work, coming back home, chores, The Mentalist at 9pm and whatever else strikes my fancy.
19. What are you looking forward to the most? Drinking to absent friends . . .
