May 7, 2017 When you think back to your childhood, what moment first comes to mind?

When I was seven, my dad purchased his first brand new car. To christen it, our family took a driving vacation to Texas. My mother had planned everything weeks a head of time, but when we arrived at the hotel, they had our reservation down for the following day, and there were no rooms available. We went to several different places, but always the same answer. No Room at the Inn.

So, we slept in the car. Dad, Mom, my sister, her husband, their year old daughter, my older brother, my twin, Cathy and me. Dad, Mom, and my brother slept sitting up in the front seat. My sister and brother-in-law wedged themselves together on the back seat, my baby niece slept on the back dash, above her parents, Cathy and I curled up on either side of the hump in the back seat floor.

Still to this day, we talk and laugh about it. Even as nightmarish as that first night was, we all think of it as our favorite family outing.

May 5, 2017 Write some interesting facts about yourself.

1. I still live in the same town where I was born, I've never lived anywhere else.
   
2. I work for the hospital where I was born.
   
3. I have never been without a job for the past forty years.
   
4. I have an unnatural predilection for red cars. The first car I bought at age 17 was bright red and I continued to buy red cars right up to the car I'm driving now. It is blue, and was too good a deal to pass up. I love it, even if it isn't red.
   

High school was a pretty good time. I had a tight group of friends, we were the polite kids that teachers liked, I made good grades and didn't get in trouble. By the time I finished my junior year, I had met all my required courses, so my senior year was all elective classes, so I took every class the English department had to offer.

This summer will be 40 years since I graduated and I still keep in daily contact with three of my good friends from school.

May 1, 2017 - The Illuminati and... well... Everybody!

You know on YouTube's home page, they offer suggestions of videos based on your viewing history? Yesterday, I saw one that said 'Sharon Tate was a Witch!'.

Naturally, I clicked on it.

It was a 90-second clip from an Oprah Show, the clothes and hairstyles look reminiscent of the mid to late 1980's, probably right after she went on the air. Joseph "Doc" Marquis (who claims that he was initiated into the dark arts at age 8yrs when someone sent a demon to him) stated that Sharon Tate had been a practicing witch for years. After she married Roman Polanski and became pregnant, she wanted out. The leaders of her coven sent Charlie Manson to kill her. Apparently, ol' Charlie is the most powerful wizard on the planet!

Obviously, I was intrigued and my research has found:

• Sharon Tate, Roman Polanski, Abigail Folger, Jay Sebring, and Wojciech Frykowski were members of the same coven. Their murders were to serve a two-fold purpose. First, to warn other witches about trying to leave the fold, and, along with the LaBianca murders, to bring about a race war, just like Charlie wanted.
  
• While the Beatles aren't linked directly to the Illuminati, they're referenced everywhere. The most blatant is a VW 'Beetle' in most of the movies that were made by and are still being made by supposed Illuminati members. Maybe ol' Charlie really was on to something?
  
• Whitney Houston died because Clive and the Illuminati could not conquer her inherent goodness. Her conviction, her commitment, and most importantly, her voice swayed people. She sang about healing relationships, healing the world, and people listened. For this, she had to die.
  
• Sammy Davis, Jr. was a member of Anton LeVey's Church of Satan. He was also a 33rd degree Mason, had all the arcane secrets disclosed to him, and an active member of the Illuminati.
  
• Sammy recruited Bill Cosby.
  
• The knowledge gained from Project CHATTER and Project MKUltra are currently used by the Illuminati to control their members.
  
• Basically, everyone in the movie/television/music industry is a member of the Illuminati.
  

No links are being provided in this post. Some of the sites I visited have extremely graphic crime scene photos that are not for the faint of heart. Others make outrageous, unsubstantiated claims that are full of hate, especially against people of color. If you just have to see them for yourself, leave a comment and I'll send them to you.

April 29, 2017 - Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
Every April, I actually set a reminder in my phone and my calendars on the computers so I don't miss the broadcast on HBO. This year, three of my favorites were inducted. Jeff Lynne's Electric Light Orchestra, inducted by Dhanni Harrison, George's son. Pearl Jam, inducted by David Letterman, and Tupac inducted by Snoop. I was overwhelmed a couple of times with the touching stories, pride, and joy from the presenters, and the performances were over the top. My wiener babies even sat and watched it with me, it was truly that good.

Other inductees were Journey - I was upset that Steve Perry wasn't allowed to sing during their performance. Yes! inducted by Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, Joan Baez inducted by Jackson Browne, and Nile Rodgers inducted by Pharrell Williams.

I'm so glad that it's available on HBO on demand. I'll probably have to watch it three or four more times.

April 27, 2017 - The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks

This is an amazing movie. The story is terribly sad, horrible, actually. But, it is tempered by the science/technology and advances in medicine due to research from Mrs. Lacks cells.

I give it 4/5 star rating because it was so sad during a couple of parts, I almost had to turn it off.

Looney Tunes. My very favorite was Bugs Bunny, followed closely by Foghorn Leghorn.

April 23, 2017 - What Was The Last Dream You Remember

This is a bizarre one. I was with a group of my coworkers at one of those Escape Room arcades / centers, whatever they're called. We had to find clues and unlock the door before sun down and the resident vampires set upon us.

The room looked like an office / library combo, with shelves and shelves of books, paintings on the wall, three or four library card filing cabinets, a roll top desk with at least a dozen tiny drawers, well, you get the picture. We had to solve riddles to find the next clue, time was running out, and I woke up before we could escape. I was actually sweaty and panting.
