365 Writing Prompts - Day 42

February 11, 2017 - It's Working

This isn't a prompt, just me rambling.

Evidently, this writing exercise is working. I've had to think about the prompts, determine how they apply to me, then form a coherent post. Some of the prompts have been pretty personal, requiring me to reflect on things I haven't for a while, or they have made me remember happier times and that felt really good.

Also? For some reason known only to the Universe, I came to the realization that even though life hasn't dealt me the best hand, I'm still standing and I have something tangible to show for it, even if it's the gray in my hair and the wrinkles on my face.

But wait, there's more. The best part has been the delightful dreams I've had the past couple of weeks, and during waking hours, I'm actually thinking about stories. They're just in my head for now, but that's so much better than nothing...

I still have 323 days to go. Who knows? There may be something really good hiding in wait for just the right time to appear.

It's great that you are having some stories in mind. It's a delighted feeling when inspiration is just around, waiting to be acknowledge.

I'm going to do some research here on DW and see if I can find communities about dreams.
