schadenfreude | Stupidity Abounds!

So, a former coworker told me back in July that he and his wife were expecting a baby, and they already knew it was a girl. I bought yarn and found a pattern I really liked and was leisurely crocheting a bit in the evenings while watching TV. Last week, I messaged him on our company's chat app to ask if the baby had arrived yet. He sent me pictures of a 3-month-old!

I THOUGHT I HAD UNTIL THIS MONTH!

I guess it never occurred to me count or to ASK when Olivia would arrive.

I've been crocheting like mad and finally finished it last night. Now, I have to get it to the post office and mailed to them... after I message him again to ask for his address.
